This is in continuation to our earlier mails dated 27th February and 10th March 2023 with reference to the new Regulatory Direction issued by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) regarding measures to Curb misuse of Headers and Content Templates under Telecom Commercial Communication Customer Preference Regulation, 2018. This Direction mandates all Telemarketers to reverify all Headers & content templates on the DLT platforms. Please refer to the attached document for a detailed stepwise process on Header & Template verification.
We request you to complete the reverification process before 15th April 2023 to avoid deactivation of unverified Headers & content templates. In case you want to rephrase the existing content, click on the Template Content Modify button and proceed further for verification.
Kindly also ensure to adhere to the Variable format for the content templates. Content templates can have only 2 variables and the variables cannot be in a continuous format. Template request with more than 2 variables will not be approved and existing templates which do not adhere to the ‘variable’ format as mentioned will also be deactivated as per TRAI direction.
