Hajra Waterfall

Hazara Falls, in Salekasa tehsil is a major tourist attraction during the rainy season. It is located 1 km from Darekasa Railway Station and visitors can enjoy the sight of natural vegetation. The place is also ideal for camping as well as trekking activities.  It is a spectacular view covered with Dense forest and hills. It falls between Gondia and Dongargarh railway stations en-route Mumbai-Howrah main line. Hazara Falls is 191 km from Nagpur, 33 km from Darekasa and close to the Gondia district. 

Situation 34 kms from Raipur, the Hajra waterfall flows from a height of 150m, nestled among the dense forest of the Gondia region. The Hajra waterfall seemingly emerges out of nowhere, as there are no hills near it to provide an indication of its height. The water gushes down bare rocks while the area surrounding it grows lush vegetation. Around the falls are various adventure activities such as zip lining and climbing that you can indulge in. Train (the Durg-dallirajhara rail line) is considered to be the best way to arrive here, as it will show one the most scenic locations and drop one near the waterfall.

Nearest airport is at Nagpur, Maharashtra. Afterwards site can be reached by road.

By Train

It is 1 (one) KM from Darekasa Railway Station. Located between Gondia and Dongargarh railway stations en-route Mumbai-Howrah main line.

By Road

It is 50 Km from Gondia HQ in Salekasa Tahsil
