Gautam Adani\u00a0is the\u00a0chairman\u00a0of the company.\u00a0He completed his schooling from\u00a0Sheth Chimanlal Nagindas Vidyalaya\u00a0in Ahmedabad. He enrolled in a college but dropped out to work as a diamond sorter at Mahindra Bros in\u00a0Mumbai. After a couple of years, Adani established his own diamond brokerage unit.\u00a0In 1988, he established Adani Exports Limited, now known as Adani Enterprises Limited \u2013 the holding company of the\u00a0Adani Group.\u00a0He is the chairman and founder of the Adani Group. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"530\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ynorme.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/t2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1199\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ynorme.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/t2.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.ynorme.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/t2-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.ynorme.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/t2-768x509.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p align=\"justify\">Adani is the largest private thermal power producer in India with an installed capacity of 12,450 MW. Adani Power was ranked as the 73rd largest corporation in India in\u00a0Fortune India 500\u00a0list of 2018. Our Seven power projects are spread out across the states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Karnataka and Chhattisgarh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p align=\"justify\">Adani Power Maharashtra\nLimited is the largest coal based Thermal Power Plant in the state of\nMaharashtra, India. The plant has a capacity to generate 3300 MW power through\nits 5 units of 660 MW capacities. The first unit of the plant was commissioned\non 28th August 2012 and subsequently other units were commissioned. The plant\nachieved full capacity with the commissioning of Unit V on 11th October 2014. The Lohara west and Lohara extension coal\ndeposits in Maharashtra provide coal for the Tiroda power plant units I and II.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"530\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ynorme.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/t3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ynorme.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/t3.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.ynorme.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/t3-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.ynorme.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/t3-768x509.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p align=\"justify\">Adani Power Maharashtra has, in addition,\nsigned a fuel-supply agreement with South Eastern Coal fields for the supply of\n2.3 million tonnes of coal for the Tiroda power plant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p align=\"justify\">The company has also laid a 10.5km\ncross-country pipeline from Dhapewada barrage on Wainganga River in order to\nmeet the water requirements of the power plant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong>Adani Power Maharashtra Limited\u2019s Tiroda\nPlant<\/strong> has the state of the art\nSupercritical Technology which is fuel efficient and environment friendly. This\nis a coal based super critical thermal power plant which operates at pressure\n&amp; temp of 254Kg\/cm<sup>2<\/sup>&nbsp;&amp; 571 degrees centigrade. The TG is\na three cylinder tandem compound, four exhausts, condensing reheat turbine,\nStatic excitation &amp; hydrogen cooled generator with 22KV stator voltage, DEH\nsystem designed &amp; installed for high operating efficiencies, maximum\nreliability and smooth operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"750\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ynorme.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/t4.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1202\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ynorme.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/t4.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.ynorme.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/t4-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.ynorme.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/t4-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.ynorme.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/t4-576x432.jpg 576w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong>Location:<\/strong> The plant is located on 454.86 hectares of\nland which houses the major equipment such as boilers, turbines, generators,\ntransformers, switchyards, cooling towers, coal handling plant, ash handling\nplant, CW pump house, track hopper, wagon tippler, reservoirs, ESP, WTP, Ash\ndykes etc. For uninterrupted coal supply, we have Rail under Rail (RUR) on the\nbusiest Mumbai- Howrah rail route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p align=\"justify\">The plant is located at MIDC\nGrowth Centre, Tiroda in Dist. Gondia on Bhandara Gondia state highway\n(SH-249), at a distance of 125 KMs from Nagpur which has major commercial\nAirport. The nearest major Railhead is Gondia on Mumbai Howrah rail route at 30\nKMs distance from Plant. The nearest sea port is at Mumbai at a distance of 985\nKMs. The plant is located about 328.25 Meters above Mean Sea Level.
